LUNA: How would you compare the sounds of your upcoming Milk EP with your previous music? Can you even compare it?

PETTY: Well, for starters there are two new drummers (Chad Smith and Lindsey Elias) and even the total absence of drums, for the first time. "Never Know" and "Powerhouse" were recorded down in LA, another first, and I think the mixing and production are top-notch. I think this is just better, but as a musician, you always like your most recent work best.

LUNA: Can you tell us a bit more about what the creative process was like for making this project?

PETTY: Each song was made at a different studio in a different way. And each with different personnel, so this is very different from our original process of blocking out a period of time and producing a body of work. I think each song has a unique vibe because of that. A real highlight of the project was playing with Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers - a truly awe-inspiring drummer.

LUNA: Do you have a favorite song off of the EP?

PETTY: "On The Line", because it shows off our versatility and I love acoustic music.

LUNA: Are there any plans for a music video for any of the songs?

PETTY: Maybe ;)

LUNA: Now that the year is winding down and the EP will be out, what do you want the rest of the year to look like?

PETTY: Writing and making music, of course! What else is there?! We will continue to work on material for our next full-length record... so stay tuned.
