Fonda Theatre Los Angeles

THEY'VE GOT AN ENERGY LIKE NO OTHER - it was of no surprise to find The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles packed with teens and young adults jumping and moshing around to the grooves of Surf Curse. Starting the set off strong with "Heathers", the band moved through the set effortlessly with each song flying by, leaving the audience holding on to each note.

Having just released their most recent album in September, Heaven Surrounds You, Surf Curse showcased a solid amount of the songs to the crowd including "Map To The Stars" and "Labyrinth", and they were well received to say the least. The energy constantly bounced around the room, with the band feeding off of the crowd, and the crowd only getting more hyped with each song.

Vocalists Nick Rattigan kept the crowd engaged with his raspy though powerful vocals while drummer Jacob Rubeck fueled the beat of the evening. Given the long and insightful history of the group, Surf Curse has built a solid and passionate audience that always show up and give the show all of their energy. They've successfully found a crowd that's been able to grow with them and evolve with their sound. As Surf Curse continues to grow, it's been a pleasure to see their fans be her every step of the way.
