Q&A: Zedd stops by san francisco for four sold out nights
ZEDD PUT ON BANGER AFTER BANGER at the Bill Graham in San Francisco. With four sold-out nights in the Bay, the final night was nothing short of a movie. Zedd delivered a show that was not only a celebration of his newest album Telos but also a journey through his most iconic hits.
As expected, the crowd was all-in from the start, dancing, singing along, and fueling the atmosphere that made the venue feel alive. The visual production elevated the experience to a whole new level. Out of all the shows I’ve covered this year it was definitely the second best production I’ve personally seen. Sorry Zedd, it was very close but Odesza, along with the Odesza drumline, takes the slight edge.
A standout moment in the night was Zedd’s live drumming segment. Zedd transitioned seamlessly into his drumming, showcasing his versatility and adding an unforgettable dimension to the show. He played “Sona”, “Lucky” and “Out of Time” all on the drums. Watching him shred the drums live was a legendary moment and my favorite part of the show, showcasing his hands-on approach to live music and that he can do more than arrange music on a computer. As a grand finale, he performed “Alive,” bringing the entire venue together in a moment of unity before he returned to the stage for an encore of “Clarity,” wrapping up the night with an emotional, unforgettable close.
Zedd’s Telos Tour, especially his four shows in San Francisco, is a testament to his mastery as a live performer, fusing music, visuals and genuine crowd engagement to create an unforgettable experience. Zedd even got the honor from the Mayor of the city declaring Oct. 12, 2024 Zedd Day. Truly a living legend and very grateful to have been able to capture such a great moment in history.
