WITH MOVIE-LIKE COASTAL VIEWS AND LAID-BACK ENERGY SPREAD — across the entire city, summer in San Diego has only been eye missing one thing: an alternative and indie-pop dominated music festival with some of the most electric acts of today’s music.

Bleached Festival is a new, two-day music event that will take place at the city’s Waterfront Park from August 5–6. Its stellar lineup includes Joji and Leon Bridges as highly anticipated headliners, as well as Lizzy McAlpine, Caroline Polachek, Inner Wave, and plenty more.

While this is the first year the festival will take place, Bleached is the collaborative product of music curator Tight Knit and long-standing events company FNGRS CRSSD, responsible for the beloved electronic festival CRSSD, which has been taking place in San Diego twice a year for over a decade.

In addition to the variety of indie and alternative acts, Bleached aims to create a genre-diverse space for all music lovers with the groovy, techno vibes of Channel Tres, as well as Omar Apollo’s new-wave R&B sound, just to name a few.

Check out our incomplete list of which acts we cannot wait to catch on the waterfront this August:
