The Hails - “Denial”

The Hails have returned to make you remember how it feels to dance. The band has a name that invokes legend and a sound that invokes movement. With “Denial”, the band uses their synth-tinged and bass-boosted melodies to create an unforgettable track to dance the night away with. Their sound invokes the honesty of Radiohead, mixed with the effortless catchiness of The Beatles, and the melody of Frank Ocean, though the band has released tracks in all genres, from R&B to indie rock. On the song, The Hails say “Denial nods at a myriad of musical styles past and present; We often brandish denial as an escape - be it in a response to a life-altering moment or a long-held, deep-seated burden, often the easiest way out is to deny.”
