UPSAHL - “Into My Body” 

If you’re looking for your next indie-pop anthem, UPSAHL is here to provide. The latest single from the spunky Sagittarius, “Into My Body” is a back-to-form pop track for anyone struggling to connect with themselves. The song is a passion-fueled exploration of “what-ifs” accompanied by a sleek and outlandish music video complete with mannequins and fishnet-clad dancers. The song is intoxicating, making you want to get in touch with your own body and the way that it moves in physical space. These past couple of years have made it easy to lose touch with reality and even the bodies we live in, and UPSAHL has reclaimed that lost confidence with this high-energy track. On the track, UPSAHL explains how she “got stuck in [her] head and was completely disconnected from reality. [She] wanted to write a song about how [she] was having an out-of-body experience, but it became a song about getting back into my body.” You can reconnect with yourself over the driving beat and rhythm of the single and enjoy the pop experience of “Into My Body”.

Birdtunes - “N.T.S”

There’s a beauty that comes from bedroom pop like no other. Always a little ethereal, each artist brings their flair to the tracks they produce in this intimate space. Birdtunes’ latest track, “N.T.S” creates this unique dreamy landscape by effortlessly blending alternative, R&B, and lo-fi bedroom pop beats. The bay area artist is completely independent with no formal training. Their goal is to show anyone that no matter where they are or how much they know that they can tap into their creative side too. “N.T.S” (Not the Same) has a light drive to it with acoustic guitars and overarching synths that invite listeners into Birdtunes' world. “N.T.S” also paints a picture of how insecurities and fears can easily tarnish relationships. Although the track has an upbeat demeanor, you can feel a sense of longing as the delicate vocals reminisce on simpler times. 

Fousheé - "supernova"

Fousheé’s new single, “supernova,” is meant to be played on repeat. There’s something addicting about it — the vocal effects and pitch, the flow of the instrumentals and the catchy melody from the vocals. It goes by fast that you quickly gravitate back to it so you can take it all in again. Fousheé is on tour with Steve Lacy and featured in his recent album, so if you’re a fan on Steve Lacy-esque sounds then Fousheé’s innovative music is for you.
